Am I on the right track?

Hey! So these past few months, I've been slacking a bit and am in need of motivation. I want to see if I am on the right track.

Basically, I'm a sophomore at a public,uber-competitive, upper-class high school, but my family makes less than $40,000 annually. The reason I get to go to this highly-acclaimed school is because my wealthy aunt lives in the city and I use her address to attend.

FROSH year:
3.93 GPA overall
Honors English and Honors Geometry (highest courseload for froshies)
ECs: random clubs ( i was a freshman; i didn't know better :P)

SOPH year(right now):first sem:
chem A-
french 3/4 A-
honors english B
honors alg C+
dance int. A
history A

second sem(projected):
straight A's (i got dropped to regular algebra).

ECs: Class Socialchairperson, Amnesty Historian, DANCE(8hrs weekly, am in a hip hop company), art(took classes at Art Center)

JR Schedule:
Honors US History
AP english
AP physics
French 5/6
Advanced Art
honors pre-calc

ECs: Amnesty vice president, dance company(8+hrs), art(planning to open a quarterly art magazine and get published hopefully), silkscreen tee shirt business, Zethusians cabinet

I think I would get good recs from teachers because I generally participate a lot in class and am sociable. :p

I know I'm not like other CCers in that I am not particularly amazing in a certain academic subject, but I think my ECs really show my commitment to dance and art. However, I'm considering colleges like: University of Chicago, Dartmouth, Cal, UCLA, USC, Pomona, Art Center, NYU, RISD.

So....if i take hard classes and get REALLY REALLY high scores on my SATs, do you think there is a chance? =)

Thank you for taking your time to read this.
I really need some insight.

OH and I have another question: since I am a poor girl going to school with a bunch of rich people, would that give me a bigger boost in the admissions?
