Am I on the Right Track

Right now I attend a big 12 university and making a 3.1. Last semester I had a D+ in a 5credit hour course, however I am retaking that class this semester. I'm currently Sophomore status, and working on a degree in Economics (Arts&Sciences) with a minor in English, and possibly Accounting. In my senior year I'll take the CFA exams and the GMAT. After taking the CFA exams and the GMAT, I plan to work for a few years, perhaps the Peace Corps.

If I am successful in achieving what I'm looking at accomplish, will I have a shot at making it into Indiana University's MBA program?

Forget the minors and focus on getting good grades in your major. Petition, or find out, if you can get the retake to replace the grade for gpa determination, not just average in.

I may be wrong, but from what I have heard about the CFA exams is that they are extremely hard even if you have years of finance experience.

What do you all think about this? I am really not too informed about CFA.
