Am I on track as an International student for Wellesley RD?

<p>I'm an Chinese student now attending year 11 in Australia(I came here for year 11 and 12). I am applying for the 10fall ..Except those standard tests, I know Wellesley also evaluates students' ECs and ability, I hope anyone would spare some time here to have a look at my ECs because I'm really not confident enough with myself and not sure if I'm the Wellesley standard student ^-^..</p>

<p>Toelf: 30/28/20/29 107
SAT1: Oct (will take several times, aiming 2200~2300)
SAT2: November Math level 2+ physics (aiming 800+800)
AP: still thinking, there seems to be no test center around me...T.T
Ranking: top 3%</p>

<p>Honors:
Regional Merit Student (year 6~10)
Regional Merit Student Leader(year 9)
National Junior Chemistry Competition- Regional Third Prize (year 9)
The Amateur 10 Level Diploma of Piano (the highest level of piano playing in China as amateur, I started playing the piano since age 3 up to now, no big prizes, just for interest)</p>

<p>ECs:
Secretary of Club Department in Student Government (year 10)</p>

<p>President of Film Club (year 10, I organize seminars every week based on particular film themes, and before I leaving, we started a project to produce a short theme video)</p>

<p>Captain of Hip-hop Dance team(year 10, I set up the team,and organize performance when there were important ceremonies at school)</p>

<p>Volunteer of 40H Famine (raise money for children in poverty in India, year 11, when I came to Australia)</p>

<p>English Tutor in a language school (year8, 9,10)</p>

<p>Piano Tutor as part-time job(year 7 up to now, I have several students ^-^)</p>

<p>Hosts in school performance, ceremonies</p>

<p>Cheer leading team (year 10)</p>

<p>Youth hosts in regional TV station team (year 5,6,7,8,9)</p>

<p>Personal Website for 3 years.(internet radio station with a particular theme each week, the most impressive one for me is the discussion about the legislation of the lethal death in China,many students response through internet to share their opinions;photo/picture/poster design using photoshop is another part of my website, I designed for schools, individuals and other organizations.)</p>

<p>Local youth team member (year 11~, food serving, social donation and other volunteer activities on weekly basis, 2+ hours per week )</p>

<p>I am still trying to look for something else that I am interested, but since I am a transfer student here in Australia, when I came, everything seems settled but I will still try ^-^..</p>

<p>Although there is still a year to go, I've started my essay brainstorm and have several drafts..it's really an interesting process to discover myself more ^-^ thank you for your time, please shook me awake if I am not realistic about Wellesley.</p>

<p>You have tons of things going on, and you seem like you have a lot of interests. For this reason I think you would enjoy Wellesley, since there are a lot of opportunities here on campus.</p>

<p>I would say that one thing you should seriously think about (I say this all the time to high school friends of mine) is your direction or "theme". For example, do you plan to pursue engineering, business, languages, or art? Just something to think about, you still have plenty of time. :)</p>

Thanx~ cheer squads in China has just started, and it's different from the American one, we do have competitions, but we don't really "cheer lead"~so...kindda of distorted uh? anyway, I enjoy it...</p>

<p>I do have a particular direction, actually I should mention it haha...
I am thinking about doing major economics and minor international relation.
I am studying without my family here in Australia to experience culture differences, so I think this is another important part of me...</p>
