I just found out about an awesome program (here on cc :)) that I think I would qualify for at a great school of interest to me. The problem is the deadline for admission is Jan 1. I can get the application, supplements and financial aid stuff in but my school requires 3 weeks notice for transcripts and secondary school form. Am I just flat out of luck or should I apply anyway and hope they accept late supplemental forms. Any thoughts?

Apply anyway. The deadline is generally only for the stuff over which you have control. Most schools (or programs) will accept the school's information late.

If you want to be sure, call the program and ask them.

Just get your application in. Most of the schools we talked to said that as long as my son's application was on time, they wouldn't hold it against him if materials that others needed to send did not arrive by the deadline. As as matter of fact, at his ED school, one of his letters of recommendation was still missing two weeks after the deadline, as were his test scores. He got in.

Thank you so much for the positive responses. I am going to give it a shot.
Tomorrow I will submit the request to my school and maybe they will get it in sooner than latter since it should just be a matter of copying and sending what they have already sent to my other schools.
Thanks again. You made my night.
