Am I overdoing it?

Hi everyone! Until a couple of days ago, I was freakishly stressing my self out about colleges. Besides reading an interesting article on here, someone from CC got in touch with me and changed by attitude about everything (for the better of course)!

Although I have a new-found change in attitude about this whole situation, that doesn't mean that I'll be slacking in the rest of my high school career.

I was just wondering, is taking thirteen out of the twenty-one AP classes offered at my school overdoing it? Please take in mind that some AP classes I cannot take: other languages than what I am taking and certain electives that I won't be taking. Or, is this the right amount of AP classes to be taking if I want to apply to some highly selective schools?

Thanks everyone!

Thirteen!!!
That’s a lot of AP’s you are taking you should be alright with around 8 or 9 So yes I think you’re overdoing it
Unless you can handle all of those AP’s I recommend you to take some out

It’s not a lot if you can get As. It’s too many if you’re bouncing Bs and Cs.

If you can have a life along with 13 APs, you’re not overdoing it. One thing most people forget is that colleges are looking for intellectuals, but they are also looking for people who add to their community in campus.
