Am I "preppy?"

Jonothan K. I understand where you are coming from. I wear Ralph Lauren and J.Crew. But I only wear them because I think they are comfortable and they fit me. Not because they are expensive. I don’t understand why people have to be such jerks when I wear a nice shirt. Most of the other people at my school wear Aeropostale and AE. But those are really just mainstream brands. I just choose to wear the classic styles. Kids call me a WASP. In fact a rumor went around the school that I was a member of the K.K.K! I don’t think I am a so called “Prep” I am who I am. Don’t let other people’s oppinions bother you. From what i’ve seen in history class, labeling is the worst. Wear what you like. Listen to what you like. Dress nice if you want. You don’t have to be a prep. Just look repectable. Does that answer and finalize this post? Because I think this endless debate is really stupid. Good Luck Jon. Don’t let other people tell you who you are.

lol this was up two years ago

this kids probably graduating by now. My B

outdated labels that basically mean nothing:

-ghetto
-scene
-emo
-nerd
-jock
-preppy

just to name a few.

no kid is so one-sided to be called any of those without serious exceptions. i do well in math and science, play sports, wear polo shirts now and then, feel bad about myself sometimes, and enjoy some alternative rock and hip-hop, so does that make me all of those or none of those?

I agree tberbert, labels are stupid
