SO that being said, am I reaching too far with the following schools?
I plan to attain a business management or communications degree (depending on the school)
-NYU Tisch
-USC
-UPenn Wharton*
-Georgetown MSB*
-Stanford
-Yale
-Princeton
-UChicago
-Cornell*

*=My top three

No, but you need to add some safeties and matches

Those are quite a reach for you, but you never know.

@dancingqueen237 oh trust me I have a list of safety schools as well, these are just my reach colleges.
@billcsho even as an URM? I figured that would qualify me somewhat as a potential candidate. Care to elaborate on how I could improve?? Thank you!

How the hell did NYU Tisch and Wharton end up on the same list?

You’re definitely not reaching too far with these schools. Yes, they are difficult to get into, but you’re just as qualified as any other competitive applicant. I’d advise you to retake the SAT and/or ACT, shooting for at least 2250 on the SAT and at least 34 on the ACT.

Good luck! :)

@whenhen OOPS my mind slipped when I typed that, yes definitely Stern but thanks for the constructive feedback from the rest of you guys!

EDIT: These are my REACH schools, I have a bunch of safeties not to worry.

Your scores are at around 25% for top Ivies and Stanford. Being URM would definitely help. Your EC is good and that would help too. Good luck.

@billcsho Thank you for your input, greatly appreciated!

the fact that you are White Hispanic is definitely an advantage.
