I applied ED to Princeton, and everything on my application except one thing: my SAT scores. I got 1180/1850 on new test: 670 W, 650 M, and 530 CR. Am I really screwed, although I have a few hooks (I am black and deaf)?

If anything can swing an 1180/1850 into the accepted pile, black & deaf might just do it. HOWEVER, very few people are accepted to Princeton with such scores (maybe...50?). So assuming everything else is great I suppose it's still possible but a unique situation such as yours would prob. be a grey area for everyone evaluating you.

Does Princeton accept Nov. scores for ED? If they do, a 600+ reading score would help considerably.

I think you are in a position that it is still worth a shot to apply. Without your "hooks" I would tell you to forget it (although maybe I should anyway...I just don't know). But I think it's worth giving it a whirl...make sure that essay conveys something special!

So I still have a chance, though it is very slight?

i'm going to be honest and tell you that you have virtually no chance

i think you do! but take the nov sat anyway

i didnt see that u said u were black and deaf. that really changes things. you may have a chance indeed
