I am currently taking the AP bio class at my school. The teacher of the class, while knows her stuff well, doesn't give a crap about preparing her student; she only wants to get her pension and leave. She basically just gives tests and material from her past years (in the past, her students have done well on the AP exam) and then tells us to read. I have been reading along the whole year, and have been getting A's and B's on the tests, but I have not really been reviewing and studying. Give it to me straight: Am I screwed? I just started to review a few days ago by going over old lecture notes, old tests my teacher gave us and the corresponding chapters on CliffNotes (and I plan to go over old MC later on). Would all of that be enough to prepare me for the AP exam? If not, what else should I do?

no. my friend did independent studies for AP Bio last year.
she got a 5 on the test.

:]

independent studies is basically teaching urself. :]

you will be fine!! i'm starting to study now too...

i know a lot of ppl who started studying pretty late and still did fine!

Remember that one section in the reproductive chapter where they talked about how the mother's brain is rewired when she becomes pregnant, and begins to obsess over and block out anything else that is not about the baby?

That's my AP Bio teacher :P She went on leave at the start of February, and we did minimal labs and no essay questions, so I'm just starting to study now too :] Don't worry, for every bad situation you're in, there's always a worse one..
