am i screwed?

So here's the scenario....i sent in all of my app materials like a month ago and today i called to check to see if everything was sent in and they said that the one thing they're missing is my high school teacher recommendation! arg does this really screw me over from getting accepted if my teacher sends it in within the next week or so.

I'm out of state. 4.5w on a 5.0 scale
9 aps...680bio, 720 us history
680v, 710 writing, 580 math
decent amount of leadership, good clubs etc

I don't know. Your weighted GPA means nothing, your SAT is pretty low.

Michigan will not consider your writing score this year. Your SAT at 1260 is on the low side.

my gpa on the michigan scale is a 3.8 if that means anything

GPA is the most important thing and you're in good shape there. I don't think it will hurt you that your teacher rec was just sent in. It's still early.

Timing is not the issue. Michigan is just now starting to make decisions. Only a very small number of applications are completed and evaluated at this time.

dsfishy, your "Michigan" GPA is right where it should be, and your SAT Verbal is good...but your Math is low. I would say Michigan is a slight reach for you, but you certainly have a decent chance. And no, you are not "screwed". You are right on time.
