So, I've had a pretty solid GPA (4.5 weighted) throughout high school, and was the Belk scholarship nominee from my school. My resume is pretty much dominated by community service and other accomplishments.

And...this semester rolls around. I take 5 AP classes. One of them (BC Calculus) was harder than I expected (I didn't take AB; jumped straight in from precalculus) and I had a B until the very end, and then I bombed a test, which pretty much messed up my grade (to a C for the semester, most likely).

Will the adcoms at Davidson hold this against me? Should I tell them that I was fine until the end?

It's not likely that a C will be a deciding factor. I got admitted ED1 and had a C on my transcript from AP Spanish during junior year. Besides the other positive factors of my application beyond my transcript, I think what saved me was not only that I got a 4 on the exam (which won't matter for you since they won't see your AP test scores when reviewing your app) but also that my grade in that class improved afterwards (to a B the next term and an A- in the seminar term). Getting an unweighted 4.0 your whole high school career doesn't impress anyone. People struggle. It's normal to struggle and from my understanding, Davidson would rather you challenge yourself and struggle than take some elementary algebra course that you could sleep through. Maybe you'll get admitted, maybe you won't, but either way I wouldn't lose sleep over that C.
