Am I shafted for interview opportunities?

Hi guys, I just wanted to know what my chances of getting an interview are if I just now signed up for them. I didn't know that I would need to personally request an interview for Duke, Johns Hopkins, and WashU. Also Duke's interview application also said that I should have submitted "form A" by Dec. 1, and I have no idea what they mean by that.

Secondly, would it affect my chances of getting an interview for Harvard if I sent my application (both main and supplement) on Jan. 1? The website said that it is recommended to send at least the common app portion by Dec.1. This goes for the Princeton website recommended that I should submit the app by Dec. 15, which I also submitted on Jan. 1.

I didn't really pay attention to these because I automatically assumed they would provide an interview (like they did for Yale, which I applied early for).

Oh, if it helps, I live in a Dallas suburb.

So am I shafted for interview opportunities?

Thanks in advance.

Well, there's not much that you can do anymore. It was a poor idea not to get organized to meet these priority deadlines for the top colleges, but hopefully you'll be impressive enough to get accepted anyway. I doubt they'll give you an interview if you missed the deadline.

Well, they weren't deadlines per-say. They were recommendations. I spent the two weeks of winter break giving my essays a complete overhaul and searching for special programs to apply to. But thanks for your opinion.

Hmm, I'm in a similar situation. I want an interview, but I sent my apps on Jan 1st.
