Duke Interview? I missed the deadline...

<p>I got a call from my Duke interviewer this morning asking me for an interview. I said yes.</p>

<p>I am still very puzzled though because I clearly missed the 12/10 deadline.. I submitted mine on the 27th...</p>

<p>Do I not mention this at all or do I thank him for the interview opportunity even though I missed the deadline and have been beating myself up about it?</p>

<p>Is this a good sign or is this just a mess up? I'm assuming that the school hasn't even looked at my application or supplement yet since it's only the 4th.</p>

<p>It’s not a mistake. Duke will still give interviews to everyone they possibly can on a first come first serve basis.</p>

<p>Don’t trust me on this, but if they want to interview you, then missing the application deadline probably has not influenced their admissions decision. I think you’re probably better off not reminding them.</p>
