The only reason I was saying that people shouldn't get offended so easily is that they shouldn't value the misgiven judgments of ignorant people. Like if you go off to Europe, I must warn you that you might receive a barrage of anti-bushism. A lot of Europeans (a generalization in of itself) assume that we Americans are George W. Bush-lovin-cowboys. And if you're not, just tell'm that you you don't like'm either. And if you love the W, then you could explain your reasons or you're could just smirk and say, "DON't MESS w/ TEXAS!"

yes sir...a large proportion of the world is anti-Bush...well...aside from top-Pakistani officials...they just enjoy American money

I'm not much of a W fanatic either though...U.S. Government is getting to divided along party lines on major issues...and partisan divisions within Congress and American politics in general makes the entire national public look divided when the public is actually very moderate. :-P

Bush himself will leave office with about a 40% or less approval rating :-P

I am personally upset against the banning of fusion candidates; Libertarianism does not have the slightest chance of gaining influence with such a system being outlawed.

ofcourse not...it's mainly targeted against them....but either way, third parties, or just candidates following the libertarian philosophy would have it hard whether fusion candidacy was banned or not...it just makes it harder on them....but i take it you're referring to the philosophy moreso than the Libertarian party per se anyways

Oops, I hope I'm not actually making an ON TOPIC post, but...

Yup! I've done a similar thing... In the middle of my sophomore year, I got blamed for a school prank I didn't do. I was kicked out of school for 2 months before an expulsion committee finally realized it wasn't me and allowed me to go back to school.

Until then, I was really set. I had a 4.0 GPA all through freshman year, I scored 1480 on my SATs, I was taking more AP classes than anyone else in the school (even compared to juniors and seniors), and I was in the highest math class offered by my school.

Missing two months worth of 6 AP classes and 2 non-AP classes isn't fun. There was no way I could go back for that year. So, I just took the CHSPE and popped into community college. I've completed almost 90 units since then with a 3.6 GPA, and I applied for Fall 2005 admission to a bunch of good Computer Science universities. So far....

Accepted: UCSB, UCD, Purdue
Still waiting on: UCSD, UCLA, UCB, U. Illinois, and U. Michigan
