Am I the only person who hasn't received anything from Brown?

<p>I hope I’m not being an impatient freak but I haven’t received a single e-mail from Brown…</p>

<p>I have not received any emails directly from Brown, but I have been in contact with an alumni who contacted me to do an interview.</p>

<p>I haven’t… I’m starting to get really worried. According to the Common App, though, everything’s been submitted and downloaded. I’m assuming they’re just swamped with applications right now.</p>

<p>I haven’t gotten anything, but I made myself an account (via the instructions on some other thread - very sneaky) and it says that they have all my materials.
Who knows.</p>

<p>They are swamped with the application materials. They got 30k and they have boxes and boxes lined up in Alumni Hall on the Pembroke campus. They also just had a long weekend, remember? </p>

<p>Next year they will be all electronic.</p>

<p>My daughter’s application was received at Brown on 12/14 (we sent it express mail just to make sure it got there), but there has been no contact from them at all. Even though the website said that ID#s would be issued by the 20th, still no word. She finally called admissions and was told to call them back if she didn’t get her ID# by tomorrow.</p>

<p>To anyone who is really desperate to check their app status, here are the instructions on how to start your own account, from another thread.

  1. Go to : <a href=“https://webapps.brown.edu/pwdreset[/url]”>https://webapps.brown.edu/pwdreset&lt;/a&gt;
  2. Enter your information.
  3. When it asks you your security question, simply put a space (" ") and then hit enter.
  4. Select a password, etc, etc.</p>

<p>I also have not received a THING from Brown. No interview. No ID#. I’ve tried the “sneaky” method to get my Brown information but it keeps telling me my information doesn’t match their records. Should I be worried? I mean, I haven’t even got an interview request either, I’m worried.</p>

<p>No info to my S yet either, although he has his alum interview set up for next week.</p>

<p>My daughter called admissions again today and the woman said they have sent out approximately 15,000 ID#s so far and that she should wait till the 28th to call back, since they should all be sent by then. She hasn’t been contacted for an alumni interview, even though they’ve had her application there for more than 5 weeks.</p>

<p>I’ve just got my ID from Brown today in an email, so they should be coming soon. Checked my status and everything is received :slight_smile: Now I just have to wait till April…</p>
