Am I too well rounded?

Hi everyone:
For starters, I have no idea what I want to major in currently. I am a junior, interested in physics and history which is a very strange combo. Last semester, my grades were: 88 in AP US history, 87 in AP physics 1, 89 in AP chemistry, 90 in Honors precalculus, 90 in Ap languagem and 92 in honors 4 spanish. Though these were relatively bad compared to my overall (92 unweighted 99 weighted), I have improved tremendously for quarter 3, as physics is now my best grade and history tied for second best. Yet I am worried that I am not specialized in certain subjects and have no idea what to major in.
For extra curriculars, I play chess, run chess club, run chinese club, do Model UN, and I am planning to start a physics club next year. I also am taking on a 9/11 internship which i would consider is very history related but my extra curriculars are not concentrated and I am losing interest in Model UN.

Also, I would like to mention I am an asian male, and I am looking to apply to top universities (if you would like to see my chance me thread for more information about me). Thank you all for your time and any advice would strongly be appreciated, i.e if I should take the history route to possibly avoid the asian male stem bias or continue on the physics route, as I participated in the TEAMS competition and I enjoy it a lot as well.

TBH I would not call you well rounded because your grades are quite average with nothing stands out. 89 is not even an A.

@jakeowl I had a rough 1st semester but i am currently doing much better and I did very well sophomore year, check my chances thread for details.

Being well rounded is not a problem. Your GPA and (unless they improve from PSAT) standardized test scores would likely be the bigger issue. Its perfectly fine to apply to a few big reach schools but be sure to have a well balanced list of reach, match, and safety schools for your academic stats that you like and that appear affordable.

EC’s are used by the top colleges to distinguish between well qualified applicants. They can only do that because they have an excess of those candidates. GPA, rigor, and test scores are always the top factors for admission. Looks like your grades are just a bit below where EC’s would start to matter a lot. I would concentrate on improving your grades, doing extremely well on your SAT and/or ACT tests, and not worry about the rest.
