Why would you be wasting your time?

I want to know if I have a good chance or if I shouldn’t bother trying. I really want to go to the SFS, but I was looking at some stats of accepted students and they’re WAY better than mine. I just want to know if I’d be an automatic reject or if I have a fighting chance. =)

You realize that over a 1000 students are accepted into Georgetown. Many of them do not post their stats in websites, instead they are the ones who don’t need to ask other ppl b/c they know they will get mixed reviews. If you took the time to post your stats here, then I am sure that you are also able to apply to Gtown in a heartbeat. Your stats look good, so just APPLY.

Of 18,077 applicants , 3,619 were accepted (20%) ,44% of those accepted enrolled including 116 of the wait list.(data from the NYT)[2010 Admissions Tally - The Choice Blog - NYTimes.com](http://thechoice.blogs.nytimes.com/2010-admissions-tally/?ref=edlife)

To the OP , you are only wasting your time if you DO NOT want to go to a particular school.
If you are interested , apply.Statistically you are a solid candidate , but college admissions is not just numbers.

Good Luck

You are definitely not wasting your time. Statistically, I think you have a pretty good chance.

Thank you. =)

lol yea, I understand that u are looking for feedback on some weak areas (which is what I have done as well in the past). Just apply b/c I know a proactive person like you should be in a great college soon! :)
