Does doing well on the AMATYC help for transferring? If so, how much?
If you are a finalist for the AMATYC math contest, that would be something good to put on your application. Otherwise, probably not. It isn’t really a standardized test that would allow transfer institutions to determine the level of your math skills.
What do you mean by finalist? If I get top 10 in US, is that a significant accomplishment?
