SAT/ACT in Community College?

Long story short, I didn’t do to well in high school. I ended up graduating with a 3.2 weighted (2 aps senior year). I never took ACT/SAT or anything like that since I knew I was going to community college.

I’m doing really well there, I’m in honors programs, and will have a 3.85+ GPA by the time I transfer. I’m looking into a few top schools and some of them say to send the scores if I have taken them previously.

My question is should I take them? I know I don’t need them but they could only help right? Especially since they also want my high school transcripts and those are pretty bad for the schools i’m looking into. I would probably just take the SAT subject tests for math 1&2 and maybe the ACT. I’m a computer science major and political science minor if that makes any difference.

Sorry if this post is confusing, I don’t know much about these tests.

Before you spend the money to take an exam that is not specifically required, email the transfer admissions offices, and ask if you should take the exam now. Many places only accept scores that were taken when the student was in HS.
