Thanks for the great advice! Do you know anyone who has similar stats to me and was able to get into Ivy’s or top schools through great EC’s / Essay?

Hey! I’m a high school senior, so take my ‘advice’ with a grain of salt.
In my opinion, your GPA shouldn’t deter you from at least APPLYING to these elite schools. It’s a little bit concerning that you didn’t challenge yourself with AP’s/Honors courses, so maybe clarify that you didn’t have the time (due to your businesses) to focus on school in your “Additional Info” section.
I also wouldn’t submit your ACT score. 30 is simply not good enough for the institutions you’re applying to. Either re-take or just don’t submit under the ‘test-optional’ policy.
You need your essays to stand out. Plain and simple. I would recommend looking at “50 Ivy League Essays that Worked” to see how other admitted students wrote their essays. Also, do a lot of research into these institutions and show them your interest by writing a strong “Why ____” Essay.
I think you optimize your chances with these suggestions, but consult with your college counselor about what I’ve said to double-check. Do your DD to each school and apply! You got this!
