Amazing Yale "Booklet"

... well I was reading this Yale booklet i got on the mail.... and i'm wondering if more univ. have such a thing... such as harvard... or stanford.. (I know MIT does... and I'm not talking about the 5-8 pages type)...

If so.. what would be the best way of contacting the institution to get one?

BTW:... arent most of the essays required "on any topic" for the most part...?

and if you apply online.. how do you ask for a fee waiver... other questions I have are the signature issue... online.. heh.

Thanks

harvard has one. so does cornell, im pretty sure most schools do.

i'm pretty sure Yale is the only school with an amazing Yale booklet...

(just a joke folks)

all schools do.... they call them "viewbooks" in which the sun seems to be out 365 days a year...

i got one from harvard recently. i think they contact you if you did well on the PSAT, or you can contact them.

If you receive a postcard from a college, return it and the college will send you a viewbook. If you don't receive a postcard, find their website on-line and request more information. Look under "admissions" on the website.

The big thick ones that have applications in them? Harvard has one too...I never contacted any of these places and I got these thick viewbooks.

Go to Yale's website and you can request an application or other info.

I've always wondered, does Harvard just send a ton of students a view book and application without their asking because they want to convince all of them that they could potentially get in, and then they all apply and get rejected, and it lowers Harvard's acceptance rate? I wouldn't put it past them...
