AMC Preparation

<p>Anyone taking it? I'm taking the AMC 10, and as a freshman, I am super excited! I've ordered two books from The Art of Problem Solving, and I hope it helps me. Any of you guys studying for it, and if so, how?</p>

<p>Do as manY practice questions as you can. Use the old Amc 10 exams on aops for practice.</p>

<p>How difficult is the AMC 12? Is it extremely hard to make it to the AIME?</p>

for the AMC 10, definitely check out the high school basics and maybe high school intermediate forums. There are many great posts with problems. Furthermore, under resources you can access past AMC 10s for practice.
Studious: That completely depends on your mathematical ability; but at first, it is fairly difficult. It’s not extremely hard to make the AIME though if you practice and learn though (which is once again available at AOPS)</p>
