Amc

AMC's right around the corner! I've been consistently getting between 90-100 on the practice tests I've taken.I have both volumes of the art of problem solving; anyone have any specific chapters to recommend to bump up the score to a qualifying one?

It's the AMC 12 that I'm taking, btw.

If you review all the “pin” problems and complete them with relative ease, you should be able to qualify for the AIME safely. Also, you probably have a decent shot at USAMO if you can do those problems.

If not, just review the areas you are weakest in. You may be a geo beast, but suck at algebra. You may know graph and number theory well, but have only basic knowledge of the other topics…you get the point.

If you believe you’re strong in an area, do the pin problems to review. If not, just do the basic problems and you should be fine (theoretically) =]
