Hello,

I will be attending the open house and audition in LA in May, and was just wondering if anyone had any advice, or would like to share heir experiences with AMDA?
I think I have my song picked out, but I am still searching for some monologues.
How is the student life?
How are the professors?
Is the audition process intimidating? I have been to several auditions in the past, but I am just hesitant for this one because I feel that most people who are auditioning can pull theater songs/monologues out of the head in an instant. I sort of feel like I'm "behind." :(
Anyways..I know that if they see potential, there is a good chance of being accepted..

Any comments are much appreciated!
:)

Hi I am currently a student in the AMDA LA program. I don’t really get on here a lot because I am usually very busy. If you have any specific questions you can just message me personally and I’ll give you my email address. :)

Hi! I really appreciate your willingness to help Though, it won’t let private message you because it says I need to post 15 more replys, and I don’t have the time for that -_- Do you think you could PM me your e-mail? Otherwise I can just ask my questions through this thread?

I will be auditioning for amda LA soon and wanted to know how in whole process works, what they are looking for ie: any experience and how long does it take to hear back. Also if you submit you audition online does it shorten the chances of getting accepted?
