I am a Chem E major and I have decided to take Chem 4A, Math 53, Chem E 40 in my freshman year. As I have to take my reading and comp in the spring semester I’ll try to fulfill the AC requirement or take a breadth elective.

Which AC course should I take and which professors should I avoid (because I need to mantain gpa for grad school).

Or which breadth elective course should I take which would potentially be of any use for my Chem E major.

Use the website Berkeley Time to help you find classes that fulfill a breadth! Very useful site. For professors, I like to read reviews on ratemyprofessor & also ninjacourses. (Take with a grain of salt though but still nice to get a general idea of the professor).
