They're all of comparable difficulty. They're in the social sciences so you should expect to do a bit of reading and, likely, some papers. The degree of difficulty will vary by professor. They'll have their own ways of assessing (grading). Some will prefer to give more marks for weekly assignments and discussion. Others will place more emphasis on exams. If you're unsure about a class, drop by (even if you're not signed up) on the first day. Check out the syllabus to see how you'll be graded and how much reading you'll have to do. That should help you make a decision.

Of course, you can't afford to be overly picky and you'll have to take one of them eventually. But instead of asking "Which one is easiest?" you can ask "Which do I find most interesting? Which course will make it easiest for me to succeed?"

well for reference, i flunked LIGN 7 and had to postpone graduation by a quarter so i could take ANLD 23 in its place.

it was a pretty chill class even with my senioritis considered; something like a paper and two exams where you're given all the essay topics ahead of time = easy A. (i've never had so much fun BSing in my life!)

oh god. i was planning on taking linguistics 7 this fall as a second-year student, and now i might drop it b/c i'm not ready to accept anything lower than an "A".

ooh this topic made an impact..

bump. anybody have other recommendations for the above courses?

pick something that interests YOU.
