Hey, I’m currently a senior in high school and was thinking about applying to UBC Vancouver’s commerce major. They said the minimum GPA is 84% but here in the U.S particularly California we use a 4.00 GPA scale. Let’s say my un-weighted GPA is a 2.88 what would that translate to? Thank You
Canadian schools will evaluate you GPA against other American applicants. they do not convert. A 2.88 UW GPA would make UBC a reach.
I believe UBC only looks at your grades for your 4 top senior level courses. So technically you still have a chance if you work hard during your senior year.
