American student getting into Scottish universities?

I've combed through almost all the threads on this website & the Student Room on this topic, but I can't seem to find what I'm looking for.

I'm very interested in the University of Edinburgh. It's high in world rankings, has very good rating from students, very multicultural, & has a good Archaeology program. By looking at the requirements on the university's website, I could easily get in, as the requirements for Americans to be admitted are not very difficult. However, I don't want to rely completely on that because that's the bare minimum. I'm also mildly interested in the University of Glasgow & St. Andrew's.

Half of the people on threads say if you're American, you pass the academic requirements, & you have the money, you're in. Others say it's a similar acceptance rate to British students.

Here are my current stats. I'm only a junior, so they are susceptible to change.

GPA: 3.5
SAT: 1980
ACT: 31
SAT World History: 780
SAT Literature: 740
Extracurriculars: Multicultural club (1 year), Chinese club (3 years), & Environmental club (3 years, club officer next year).

I am re-taking everything except the ACT & SAT World History. Realistically speaking, what are my chances at getting into Edinburgh, Glasgow, & St. Andrews?

you have almost the same GPA and ACT as my daughter and she just got admitted to St. Andrews. You do not mention AP classes. I know they highly value AP courses for US students.
