Is it possible? Has anyone transferred to La Sorbonne from any school outside of Europe?

La Sorbonne is actually three different universities: Paris 1, Paris 3 and Paris 4. Check their websites to see which one corresponds to your field of study and then go to their international student page. Getting in shouldn’t be a problem, but I doubt if you can transfer any credits. On the other hand, the French BA (licence) only takes 3 years.

I am so glad I found this page.

I am currently a student at an accredited community college, I am majoring in Political Science. I am fluent in French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese and of course English. I am also taking German classes at my current college. I have a 4.0 GPA so far, my plans were originally to transfer to USC, but have been thinking at AUP for awhile now. Is there anyway that I can transfer into AUP from my community college?

Paris I is specialized in Econ, Law, and has good departments in History, a good master in Geopolitics with the ENS.

I don’t really know Paris III.

Paris IV is specialized in social sciences (except econ) and humanities.

As french colleges aren’t selective, i don’t think this is very hard to transfer from an american college.

But be careful, the most famous school in France aren’t the universities but the “Grande Ecoles”, such as Polytechnique, HEC, ESSEC, Sciences Po, les Mines Paris, l’Ecole Centrale Paris, l’ENS etc…
