I attended AUP for a 6 week summer program last year. Their advisors are really helpful, so I would email if you have specific questions.
@catbird1 Yes. but i didn’t find anything about the minimum gpa. Als, how was your experience during the 6 week of the summer program? I want to know more about the univeristy
I don’t think they have any specific GPA minimum, but if you’re concerned you should definitely email them.
I really liked AUP! I attended a French language immersion and absolutely loved the teachers. I was auditing the classes I took (cheaper, and I didn’t need the credit), but I ended up participating at the same level as everyone else since the classes were small.
There’s not a main campus - school buildings are spread out through a small neighborhood (the 7th arrondissment), which people tend to either love or hate. There are no sports to speak of, STEM is not a priority, and there will probably be least one child of a foreign diplomat in your class…but at the end of the day, you’re in PARIS. It’s a great school for undergrad liberal arts, and they have a number of strong master’s programs.
If you go, the best pastries (croissant and pain au chocolat in particular) are from Artisan Boulanger.
AUP isn’t very rigorous academically. Lots of wealthy kids who couldn’t get into ESSEC International BBA or such. So, as long as your GPA is close to 3.0 and above 2.5, you should be good.
