alot of people go their for a few years after college. They like to bum around paris and that is one of the expat communities intellectual hubs.

helen i would also look at some of the british schools, see if they allow transfers. Helen, you are clearly qualified for any of these programs. In fact to be brutally honest, you are one of the most qualified applicants on the transfer board. The problem is that all of the most qualified students are applying to all of the most competitive programs....

I was looking for summer programs since I am leaving for Europe in 10 days (for the entire summer), and no, British Schools (Oxbridge) do not allow transfers...

Helen, i know that kings college and lse both have summer sessions. i am pretty sure that the sourebon (sp.) has a summer session as well, but I am not sure if the language of instruction is english. I am know that NYU has a campus in italy, chicago has a campus in paris, etc etc. I am sorry I do not have specifics, just ideas.

I've been considering John Cabot, too. I think it would be fun there. I think something like 80% of the students there are from other universities (American and European), which means lots of new friends to meet.
