Is the American University in Washington DC related to the AU in Paris and the AU in Cairo? Are they all related to each other?

i dunno about dc but the ones in cairo and paris (and dubai, adn sharjah, and probably loads moreplaces) are all related.

Yes, they are all related and AU has a very extensive study-abroad program.

I think its called the World Capitals Program or something.

I found it
Here's the website:

since they are related, can you get your degree from either one of them?

...bump....

I work for an American university in the middle east. none are related. anyone can set up a university and call it an ameican university of whatever. it's a marketing term. many of the profs here come from one in Shuarjah. and believe me we are not related to the ones in UAE or even Cairo, which doesn't even accept credits from our students currently.

what's UAE?

united arab emirates

I have a friend applying to AU-London. All the AU schools are related/connected in one way or another. I guess one of the plusses to the AU schools is that you can get scholarships from the US and use them at the AU schools. I don't really know firsthand, but that's what my friend told me.
