American University Prospective Transfer

Hi I'd like to start by saying that I have just finished my first semester at community college. I originally did not plan to going a community college but did In hopes of beefing up my academic standing. Going off of that fact, I am now in a dilemma... I was a part time student this fall semester at my college and will only have 9 transferable credits (i checked with American to make sure they'll transfer). I got a 4.0 for my college gpa. As you may know, American must have 24 transferable college credits in order to by pass my high school transcript. Now, my high school gpa isnt the best, it's a 3.60 wgpa but i heard it's just good enough to get accepted to American. My question now is, should i just send my application now, including my high school and college transcript (I'm applying as a test optional student as well), or wait till the end of the spring semester when i have completed all the 24 credits necessary to by pass sending my high school transcript. In short does time have an impact on my acceptance rate as a student?

Thank you
