I clicked on “Financial Aid: Award Letter” under current undergraduate and graduate to see my merit aid
I was able to make an account last night, and set a password. They gave me a username and a password and an email. Now I can’t log into it and it says invalid username/password. Did this happen to anyone else?
Presidential scholarship! What is the max award?
i dont see an option to view this letter, but i also didn’t apply for any financial aid so im not sure if this will even show up for me
@hellofriend0s I have no idea. I was trying to research the different merit scholarships but not much info on them
DD accepted for FALL 2020! (used portal account creation glitch). Where (exactly please) did you look for merit award?
I’m not sure if AU does the same, but for a few other colleges I applied to they release honors program decisions separately
@hellofriend0s pretty sure max is $22,000 per year
I found my merit aid by going to the finances tab, clicking financial aid, scrolling to the “Current Undergraduate and Graduate” (below the newly admitted freshman), clicking “Financial Aid: Award Letter” and selecting 2020-2021 FA
@MSC2020 Finances tab, click financial aid, scroll down and click Financial Aid: Award Letter, then select the term!
i still dont see anything under the finances tab that says “financial aid”
so I did the portal trick and was able to login does this mean I’ve been accepted?
Max is not $22,000 bc I got $25,000
@musicallover2040 wow congrats! I was just going off of what I saw on their website:
https://www.american.edu/financialaid/freshman-scholarships.cfm
I also was able to sign into my american uni gmail
@user2545 thank you! and no worries! I saw that too but think it may just be outdated
I was able to create an account, login and see financial aid, but only my need based? Where it is supposed to show my merit and need based, it only showed loans and grants. Does anyone know if this has something to do with decisions not officially being sent out or did I actually not receive any merit aid?
Same thing happened to me and I received the max amount of merit at other schools…
Has anyone been able to see their decision without using the glitch?
My merit was right above my need based aid
