American vs. Canadian Universities

My dad is trying to convince to go to a Canadian university since it is cheaper and he thinks I could get an equally good education here. (My grandma is paying for it).

Should I consider going to a Canadian university and save my grandma's money? Or go to an American university?

I personally think American universities are much better. More Canadians come to the US for college, rather than Americans go to Canada.

depending on where you go you will get a great education i mean there are good schools that are well respected in different areas like yorks schulich school of business and mcgill as a whole, and they are much cheaper alternatives then say a private american school like GWU, however for them opening up the same amount of job oppurtunities in the U.S., now that is unlikely. I think it would depend on whether or not you see yourself working in Canada after, however I personally feel that I'd rather go to school in the U.S. instead of Canada and my parents feel the same way.

You should go wherever you want to.

But there are good schools in Canada. Like McGill, UNivesity of Toronto, and Waterloo.

I just talked with my dad.

He's getting a $100k + job in Toronto this summer, so there's no excuse for him not to help pay for my education.

Why should my grandma pay for it? I'm not her kid.
