Americorps vs peace corps

I'll be graduating with a 2-year degree around October, and I plan to contine on at the state flagship university, but the problems are two: I need to live and or work in this state for 12 months in order to get state residency for tuition, and also, I won't have any money.

Americorps seemed like a good option because the duration of a stint with them is 12 months... plus they offer educational assistance once you leave. However, the amount of educational assistence seems crappy. Plus, I've always had my eye on the Peace Corps. I've been abroad many times and I thrive on it. I plan to work and life abroad in the future anyway, so I think the Peace Corps would be better. Plus, their benefits seem to be better (like loan deferrment)

The drawback is I would have to finish my BA by paying out-of state tuition, so I would have to rely on loans or scholarships.

Which is the better option?

check into the peacecorp; they often times will pay for student loans/tuition. see if what theyll do will offset the cost of OOS tuition.
