There arenā€™t many tricks, but maybe a few hours before the decisions the FA portal will change. All we can do, but why not just wait :-?

I donā€™t think it means anything. My portal collapsed since last night but at around 2pm it was fine. GMT+4

Guys it really seems kinda ridiculous to keep looking for such tells. Itā€™s just hours away from knowing for certain and Iā€™ve made my peace with whatever comes. Just chill. Talk to your friends, concentrate on the class, and the time would arrive before you realize. Best of lucks:)

@cashme around 4PM is what others have reported based on prior notices sent.

Amherst is going to admit about 12% during the regular decision round. Imagine standing with 7 other excellent applicants, and they can only pick one of you. Donā€™t feel bad if you donā€™t get picked! If you keep trying, and keep doing your best, eventually you will get lucky. Each opportunity, but itself, is a low probability. But if you keep going, your chance of success is excellent. In the real world it is not very important where you went to school. What people care about is what you have learned, and what you can do to help others.

@GenKlos ā€¦at the moment it works perfectly fine. But these rumours, although they do work sometimes, do nothing to help our already wrecked nerves.
Prepare for a rejection everyone let the acceptance come as a surprise.
