My school offers about 18 AP Classes but only about 5-6 of them are Math & Science related. I plan on majoring in Engineering so will it look bad if I finish high school with only 4-5 AP's? (BTW I am an early graduate).

Did you look up your high school profile and see what percentage of student participate in AP and the average number of AP tests they take? The info is available online such as at usnews.com. Even your schools has 18 AP classes, there may be time conflict or pre-requisites that any student at your school may only take some of them. It should be fine if you are well above the average (e.g. double of average).

Thank You SO much! The average at my school is 4.1 so I am slightly above the average. Plus my GPA will probably help set me apart. As an early graduate (Junior & Black) if I have 5 AP’s and a 4.997 GPA with a 31+ ACT Score what would be my chances for getting accepted to an Ivy or MIT?
