Due to some confusions in my schedule this year, I wasn’t able to take APUSH. So, I’ve decided to self study…

I’m wondering, is just the AMSCO book good enough for a 5? Or, would I need a REAL textbook…

Please help me!!! thank you! :)

AMSCO is more than enough for a 5; you can think of AMSCO as a condensed textbook/huge review book (somewhere in between a review book and a full textbook). While textbooks and AMSCO are both detailed, textbooks are filled with useless details while AMSCO is filled with relevant details. While a textbook may ramble for pages about an election, AMSCO will succinctly tell you everything you need to know about that election in a paragraph.

Thank you!
Now I know I didn’t waste my money :)

Do you think just reading AMSCO will be enough? I’ve tried outlining and making notes and it takes alot of time. I’m scared that I won’t be able to finish AND review the material.
