<p>Two of D's friends (neither a Smithie) from her Math program in Budapest are getting married. To each other. One was D's roommate.</p>
<p>D is beginning to accumulate wedding invitations on a regular basis.</p>

<p>Cute! I went to the big march in Washington, DC in 2009 in support of marriage equality and there was a woman there with a sign that read “My wife is fighting for peace in the Middle East. I’m fighting for her.” It turned out both she and her wife were Smithies, and her wife was at that time deployed in Iraq. Just goes to show, there are Smithies everywhere.</p>
