An average premed Transferring for Yale /Fine Art? What are my chances???

Okay it’s like this I am a second year premed since I am not too sure about my major yet plus people keep telling me to major in whatever I am interested in. Even though I wanted to major in Fine ART but I thought it might just too cheesy have BFA alone as a degreed to apply med school, so I am end up doing BioChem for now “I am also interest in nature sciences.” Btw my 4.0 is from CCNY City College and I am transfer to SUNY Binghamton this fall 2006 as we speak. These are my grades so far

I plan to finish all the premed pre-requirement out of the way by the end of sophomore year and hopefully that’s with the MCAT :] and my grades stay that way.
Last time I checked Yale and Chicago ART are the best schools for Fine ART major, so I thought maybe I should apply to Yale for fine Art, transfer in as a junior. So my question is what you guys think about my chances. The reason I didn’t applied to Yale before while in high school it was because of my low grades ~3.1 "english is not my first language" but now I have 4.0 assuming it stay that way. I am quite confidence about my Art portfolios I have won many national awards, I have passed the reviews from Chicago while I was in High school …so assuming my Art portfolio will pass the Yale interview.
I mean who knows medschool might even like the diversity plus its Yale after all !!! O_O

you've certainly got the grades i'd definitely apply...
yale is an uncertainty for anyone given their dismal transfer rate (30 out of 660 last time i checked) which is lower than harvard.

But someone with your credentials certainly should give it a shot.

Thank you,

I have forced my parents send me to learn in Art studio ever since I was five and I really don’t what to just give it up now…:]

Why not just stay at CCNY and transfer for junior year instead of going to Bing?

i dont know...i wish i can lol just incase if i am not getting anywhere...plus i dont exactly fancy UWS living style.

I'm just saying that because I heard that it is harder for you to transfer to another school if you just transfered into a new school the previous year...
