An international student's chances at Yale RD

Hello, I'd really appreciate if someone could see what chances I have at Yale RD...
I'm a Korean girl going to an international school in Singapore.
I do the IB.

My SAT score is not that great. It is a 1350, and I am not retaking them
V - 670
M - 680

SAT 2 results (writing, 1c, lit) coming out in 10 days..

Keep LOOKING....

Activities:
Photo club (9,10,11,12)
Dance - including performances (9,10, 11, 12)
Yearbook Editor (11)
Student Executive member for Global Concerns (11)
Member of Promoting Animal Welfare Global Concerns (11,12)
Figure drawing, portraiture classes (11)
Art outreach community service (11,12)
Riding for the disable community service (11)
Footprints magazine layout team member (12)
School newspaper journalist (11,12)

Work experience at an Art gallery (11)

Community service for a week in an orphanage in Bali, which a group of friends and I raised money for (11)

I want to major in English literature and art history

I don't know exactly what my predicted IB grades are..
But I do HL - Eng, Art and History and I should most likely get 7,6,7. Maybe if I'm lucky 3 7's/

And SL - STS, French B, Math Methods and I know for sure that I'd get 6,7,7
And again if I'm lucky a 7 in french too.

I've done my extended essay on English (Doris Lessing - The Memoirs of a Survivor). And hopefully I'll be able to get the 3 bonus points.

I'm at least expecting a 40+ score. They'll be between 41-43 points out of 45.

I know I've got 3 excellent teacher recs; and I'll have a solid, unique and catching essay.

What do you think?
How could I increase my chances...
Do SAT 1 scores really count so much if I'm an international student and all that..

If you need anymore info, please ask..

Your IB is phenomenal, your ECs are good but unfortunately the SAT isn't, and it does matter. Can't you still retake? Try to get it over 1400. The competition between Asians is quite intense. A lot of us get 1400+ (most of the Asians appying for HYP getting 1500+) and have A-levels of 3 or 4 As and IB scores like yours.

Also: does your school rank? if so, were are you ranked? What's your gpa?

I don't have a "GPA" and no our school doesn't rank.
I go to an International school in Singapore.

And I could retake SAT 1 in December but I'd rather not..

I've applied ED to Columbia, so they won't see my "improved" SAT scores anyway..
I just wanted to give Yale a shot.. would I not be in their radar range for screening..?

bump............................................

is it futile for me to apply to yale?
is it a definite rejection?

Nothing is definite.

That being said, I don't know much about international admissions. You have good EC's, etc.

It will be easier to tell how you'll fare once you get your SAT II scores back.

so yale's more pedantic about SAT scores eh?
