Singaporean yale hopeful

Only 5 people a year get into yale from singapore, apparently. BUT I really, desperately, crazily wanna go to yale (yeah my parents think i'm crazy & wasting my time) Okay anyway, so here's my list of stuff I've done (sigh, not much, cos I only very recently started worrying about college. WHY DIDN'T I DO MORE STUFF DAMMIT!). Please please help me see if I stand even the minutest bit of chance for yale. And if you think I'm a hopeless basket case, please give me suggestions to up my chances. (By the way, I'm a very meh student all round- I'm good at some things, but not particularly WOW SIGN HER UP SHE'S GONNA BE THE NEXT STAR kind of good in anything.) So yeah:

In sec 3 & 4, equivalent to freshman & sophomore year at high school:

In one of the best schools in my country (top 3%)

Tennis vice captain
Tennis school team player, participated in the national championships, won 1st both years.
Singapore school's (kinda like national) squash team player, went to Penang (malaysia) to compete in an international squash competition (got thrashed).
Got the Colors award (national award given to recognize outstanding athletes for their achievements).

Got the Edusave Achievement, Good character and Leadership award (EAGLES) which is also a national award to recognize leaders with good achievement, character blah blah.

Took Raffles Academy literature (advanced course a bit like AP, only 15 people in the entire school get to be in the class.)

Was in the chess school team, participated in national championships, 2nd one year and 3rd the next.

P.S. should I talk about odyssey of the mind? I did it in sec 2 and though we won the national championships and went to US (y'all have such nice grass, like seriously) to compete in the world championships we didn't really do spectacularly well hahaha (14th)

In JC (junior and senior year)

vice-chair of film society.
wrote a screenplay that I really like, now in the process of making the film (trying to rush it out haha I really hope it's good).
in a programme (with a disgustingly egoistic name) "leaders of a better age", we helped renovate, pack, clean one room flats in a neighbourhood and went to Australia's Alpine national park for a crazy hardcore 13 day hike (guess I could write about it for a personal statement? Cos it really was quite life changing. Not being fake/ lame.)

In H3 literature (considered a challenging course- also like AP).

In JC1 (junior), my grades were A (lit) A (chem) B (GP) B (math) B (bio). (i know this sounds really bad but in my school the grading system is really tough. I'd say an A would put me in the top 20th percentile in my school, which is a crazy killer school.)

SATs in Jan of my J1 (junior) year, 2280 (800m, 740r, 740w)

How should I sell myself?

Thanks in advance, guys.

Your academic stats are very good and within Yale’s average so you just need to make yourself stand out. Your ECs are also very good so i would recommend writing about the life changing hike. But make sure you write specifically how it changed you, be introspective.

My thread (chance back please): <a href=“Chances for Vanderbilt, UNC, NYU, UF, and Duke? - Chance Me / Match Me! - College Confidential Forums”>http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1610985-chances-for-vanderbilt-unc-nyu-uf-and-duke-p1.html</a></p>

I’d say you have a pretty good shot!
