<p>describe an issue of local concern. why is this issue important to you? how do you think it should be addressed?</p>

<p>for some reason, this topic is giving me A LOT of trouble. i can't find the right angle from which to look at this prompt that will allow me to infuse myself into the essay. it seems so difficult to write without just spewing out info on a local topic. </p>

<p>i was thinking about writing about the recent school board drama and issues regarding the construction of a new high school in town, but it just seems so one-dimensional.</p>

<p>advice or suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated :)</p>

<p>Are there local issues that are actually important to you personally? In other words, a new high school would involve and affect you personally but how significantly and deeply? If "not very", then perhaps find another local issue that is palpably important to you.</p>
