Since you got 5 B’s freshman year, it seems a bit intense to take multiple AP’s online and skip Calculus AB. If I were you, I would take it slow and focus on getting good grades rather than beefing up your schedule.

If you have had 5 B’s so far then I don’t understand how your GPA is 4.15. I also agree that skipping Calc AB is a mistake. Also, if your B’s outnumber your A’s, then you are not ready to take any APs, at least not yet.

AP European History is a tough class.

You need to focus on getting good grades.

AP Calc BC, AP Chem, and AP Physics 2 in the same year? That sounds a little extreme, I’d either go for AP Calc AB or drop Physics. Or, if physics is your stronger subject, drop chemistry.

I’m assuming you’re planning to go into science? AP Capstone (Seminar & Research) might be a better option for you than AP English Lang/Comp and AP Lit. I’m planning to do Capstone. Basically you get to do an independent research project on whatever you want for a year in AP Research. It sounds super fun. Good luck!

Also, yeah, how is your GPA 4.15? Does your school have some kind of curve? I’m not trying to be mean, I’m just curious haha

@DadTwoGirls I think what they’re saying is that they received a total of 5 out of 14 possible B’s. If all these B’s are from honors classes, this still means that their GPA can be above 4, because under this scenario, there are 5 other honors grades which are A’s.
