and the fun begins...

hooray for being back at school... or not whichever. break was good. it was awesome to get to see family and friends. anything exciting happen during the time off?

We really enjoyed having KP10 home and it is strange now without him here.

I will let him tell you his trip from his point of view, but it was very good from a parent's perspective.

May post a couple more pictures later....

Hope everyone enjoyed that little slice of heaven being home. Love the pix of KP10! He DID bag that bird. Awesome! So sad they won't allow the dog to stay with him at KP. He'd be a great mascot with his KP hat. He'd bring some smiles at the end of a long day for sure. What a great dog! Sigh... Back to business for you Plebes.

Recognize the class of 2010!!

Our Artemis would cause endless hours of distraction but would get the exercise she needs at KP. She could go from plebe to plebe with her tennis balls and deep desire to just run with another. She has an unbelievable amount and untapped source of energy.

She is a bit of a princess and expects indulgence. She is frequently found in the middle of the night with her head on the pillow with whichever young man in the house she chooses to sleep with!

Here a few more pictures of our last evening together with KP10.

If you can notice in the picture of the lovely young lady at the dinner table, miss Artemis' head is slipping up under her arm and is perched on the table. I had finished my pheasant and she had moved on to a more hopeful prospect of the bird she helped bring to the table...

we went on a dinner cruise thing :)

Yeah, you two are a fine looking pair also.

Young love, it is so refreshing.

Awwww. So very sweet! cjp, you just keep hanging in there. You must be so very good for him.

aww thanks you two. things are going really good between us. he is such an amazing guy, i am so blessed! we dealt with a semi long distance my first year at college. but what im nervous about is his sea years...but i plan on keeping super busy with school and my girlfriends and maybe studying abroad for a semester while his gone :)

cjp, take the time to develop yourself and do the things you wouldn't experience if he were always around. there is so much of life!

I am not for sure of your love's carreer path but if he plans to spend a lot of time out at sea, you will need to develop the skills to be happy as "one". It takes a very independent woman to endure the life journey of a merchant marine. Be happy.

And yes!! Study abroad. Every young person should do this, it broadens your own horizons, teaches you different ways of thinking and doing things and to appreciate other cultures. We are one large island here in America and so isolated from so many other ways of life. I think the best thing that parents can do to promote peace is to travel extensively with their kids and to send them abroad in college.
