And the package has arrived

@SanDMom2011

In other thread, I’ve read that someone got his acceptance letter 3days later than others did. maybe it doesn’t matter with which date you receive your letter.

Thankyou: In the January wave, N Cal got packages the day after So Cal-- so be on the lookout tomorrow :)

Can someone who was rejected try and register for housing to see if it works? thanks!

Someone who was rejected already tried and was successful at registering. Thus, registering for housing probably isn’t an indicator of admission.

Edit: I never asked anyone to try… and I’m sincerely sorry for those who have been rejected :(

can you be sensitive to people who got rejected?

plzbrown Thanks for the words of encouragement. I suppose I shouldn’t be so quick to assume rejection until we actually receive the rejection letter, right? My apologies again for perhaps spreading bad information; it won’t happen again, I promise. I’ll post back when I know FOR SURE. Again, best of luck to all.

God will bless your daughter. So let’s be optimistic! Fingers crossed for all of you applicants (including myself.)

omg! So I knew that the letters for USC were going out on the 22nd at 2:45pm. So last week I called the admission office and switched my address to my grandmas house because she lives like right across the street from usc. (I know Her house is really ghetto) anyways i called her as soon as i got out of my stupid wrestling practice and she was all ‘oh im sorry swetheart, i cant open it cause its against the law’ and was like grandma quit effin with me’ and she was all dont talk to me like that. uuuuugghh. so finally i got her to open the package and she felt the need to tell me about her day. and i was like grandma what the ‘H’ does it say? She was all it said your denied and started laughing… not cool grandma, then she said i was admitted to a mental hospital. again grandma what the h just tell me already. so finally she was about to tell me and my phone died. so now im waiting to charge it so i can call her back. the suspense is killing me… want to be a bruin so bad.

^^^ wrong thread…

“want to be a bruin so bad.”

A trojan you mean…?

Been lurking around for awhile and this is my first post.

(SoCal - San Gabriel Valley) D just received her rejection letter :frowning: I expected it since her stats were low, but was hoping for the best. I work at SC (15 years) and H and SIL are alum, so I was hoping that could have helped her. Oh well, she’s not too bummed. Off to go look at the transfer section LOL.

Good luck to the rest of you all.

You’re kidding me right?

North San Diego. No package :</p>

Ty! You will be fine! Get off! Relax!

Hahaha Arteen, go away! :stuck_out_tongue:
Kidding - this is my escape from work, I’d much rather be on here.
Any word from the UC crap? Text me.

Ty… get off

I’m in Northern LA county and nothing from SC came in the mail. Their website clearly says that they send out all admission notices by postal mail, and you should all know that the post office can be unpredictable. Just because your package did not come today does not mean you’re denied by any means, it could just mean your mailman is slow :P

San Diego here and no package either. Might be because I just moved so all our mail is getting forwarded to our new house which might take a few days more :frowning: What bad timing to move…

Admitted! Chemical Engineering, San Gabriel Valley for those in LA

SCMomof3 - Almost the same situation with my D. She applied for transfer her soph year. Did freshman year at PCC. High GPA from PCC 3.9. Got in as a soph and will graduate in May. Actually the experience was good for her as she understood she had to take ownership and work for it. Good luck to her!
