And the package has arrived

San Diego- S received acceptance today.

AGTROJAN, thank you for that. Good to know that she was able to transfer in from PCC. She was accepted to Cal Poly Pomona and CSULA but is considering either PCC or Mt. SAC. She’s leaning more toward Mt. SAC since they have priority registration for athletes (she’s hoping to play soccer there). Will have to keep motivating her to do well so that she can transfer in as a soph as well. Congratulations on your D and pending graduation!!!

^^ North or South San Diego?

I’m in north San Diego and I got my package today.

I live in Oceanside and no package. Sucks.

So much excitement!!!

MADBEAN!!! CONGRATULATIONS!

To those who were rejected - I am so sorry. You all have great things ahead. I often check up on posters who truly loved USC but for whom it didn’t work out, and invariably find them posting enthusiastically on the forums of the schools they chose - and came to LOVE more than they did USC. Best wishes.

To those accepted: Congratulations! Now, where will you attend??? In the next few days all those USC-devotees will suddenly start posting “vs” threads…

To those still waiting to hear, even those in the LA-area: Sometimes the mail is LATE. There may still be a package out there! Don’t post “I was rejected” until you see the words on the letter. Crossing fingers it is because the mail truck had a flat tire!

So if the mail doesn’t get to my house by the time I have lunch tomorrow, I’m gonna be mad. I don’t know if I’d make it through track practice without a nervous breakdown…

How do you have track practice in all that snow??? Do you run in snowshoes??? Eh?

Tell me about it BigKev… already wondering if I will be able to sleep at all tonight…

alamemom,

Indoor track. It will be the cause for the death of me, or at least my knees. We were supposed to start outdoor practices on Tuesday, and then a blizzard came out of nowhere. But so is life in Wisconsin, where in the course of a week, we went from 60 degree weather to 6 inches of snow on the ground.

I guess it would have to be indoor or there would be no track in Wisconson. Hope you are on your way to sunny California soon!

Haha that’s one of the main reasons why I need to get somewhere warm. I can’t stand not being able to run outside for 4-5 months out of the year…not to mention it’s time for the winter coat to come off so I can be nice and cut for summer  I can’t stand running aimlessly on a treadmill - what can I say, I’m a sprinter, not a distance runner.

CA is definitely not sunny today, we’ve had a horrible winter.

For the people that asked, I am international and never got the DHL, but thats because i live in LA. I got accepted spring admit which is amazing for me because i didnt expect to even get considered!!! I dont really know what i have to do now. WOuld i go to comm college for the fall to get some classes done or do i just relax?hahah

AHH still pinching myself!!!

Can anyone who received an acceptance confirm if it included a financial aid package? Congratulations to everyone :)

Has anyone in the west coast besides california received a letter or will it come tomorrow?

I live in San Bernardino COunty (Chino area) and haven’t received my letter yet. Neither has my friend. However, my friend’s brother got his acceptance letter today. (They live in the same house.) Any idea what’s up?

^ The sent the decisions out hour by hour yesterday. Yours probably got sent later in the day, after the last truck to San Bernardino left. Don’t worry, you’ll get it tomorrow.

lol, BigKev. I had to read it twice. You made it sound like you shed for the summer, like a malamute dog! You Wisconsinites are a hardy people, winter fur and all! :)

Thanks BigKev! You’ve quelled my fears momentarily. [:

^^ I gotta shed…some fat that is haha. It’s a lifting/bodybuilding technique, bulk in the winter to build muscle and then cut in the spring so you’ll be trim for the beach.
