and then there was the *Mathey* thread!

mathey right here! 423 Joline Hall

(+ litho, thx for your helpful posts)

:-)

It's becoming a hobby... heh. It's also far more fun than working. The only downside is that it's making me feel old. Would you believe, I have to start writing grad school apps next month...

BTW, guess this thread is as good a place to put it as any. If you want to IM, the SN is in my facebook profile. Search geosciences/2006/scully, and you should get me.

(foundya!)

lithoglyphic, is 225 a nice place? How big are the rooms? Is there a bathroom?

225 is the same floorplan as 215. I thought it was a little on the small side, but in a "cozy" way. Assuming you go with the usual two-bedrooms-and-a-common layout, beds will have to be bunked and only one desk will fit in each bedroom. However, the location in the corner of the building is nice, and the common room has big windows. Pretty hardwood floor and trim, but bring a baby vac anyway... Joline can be a little bit dusty. You're about as close as you can get to the laundry, two flights of stairs notwithstanding. Women's bathroom is across from the laundry, and men's just a little further down the hall.

Thank you !

Thanks litho for the great feedback and for posting the info about our rooms. We love having you on the Mathey thread!!! :)

I want to add my two bits, too, Litho, because you have been a great help to everyone.

thanks litho!

I hope the thanking me didn't kill the thread ;-) Our worthy college's thread must compete with both the Butler comisseration and the legendary Forbes spirit...

Mathey's the dream res college, the rest of they-all just don't want to admit it :D. I've got three roommates. I'm relieved...I like a group of four better than a group of three. Say, anyone know what I should be looking for in 'shower slippers'?

And what amenities does our college have? I think there's a dark room on the first/base floor...

shower slippers=flip flops/ plastic sandals

Ones that don't retain water.

and don't go squish-squish

This should be on here:

Although it looks like they haven't yet updated for the coming year.

Also, Charlie's awesome. :-)

haha, but all the slippers I've ever worn go squish-squish when wet! (thx all). Woo check out all those barbeques in the photos on the Mathey site.
