We should introduce ourselves!! Anyway, I'm ceebee, I'm from Virginia, and I'm so psyched to meet everyone! Feel free to include any interesting information you want! For example, I think the mnemonic for remembering exceptions to the i before e rule is hilarious (neither weird foreigner seizes leisure or height either). What's your "inner nerd"...what do you want to major in...what sports or instruments do you play...how much are you FLIPPING OUT!!!????

Well I'm deferring for a year and entering in Fall of '09, but I'll throw my name into the hat too, heh. Friends in advance for the win.

Josh, original from Mass, currently living in Germany. Already working with the US Gov, planning to major in something completely eclectic (no idea yet, lol), but eventually plan to focus on International Policy, etc at the Woodrow Wilson school.

Inner Nerd: Definitely a theater geek, musical or otherwise, been to see at least two shows on Broadway every year since 2000. I also enjoy acting, although it's not quite Broadway caliber =P
Music: Singing (not too badly), Piano (pretty badly, horribly out of practice)
Sports: Track, my feet are coordinated, but I can't catch or throw worth a damn... maybe I should consider soccer.
Random Geek Skill: I'm freakishly good at DDR from a summer I spent working in an Arcade during high school.
Random Quote: "Winners never quit, and quitters never win, but if you never win and you never quit, you're just a loser."

Hey Ceebee, I'm Jeremy from Toronto, Canada. I just confirmed online recently, and it was definitely the Preview that made me fall in love with Princeton.

Major: Econ, then depending if I get in, Woodrow Wilson
Inner Nerd: Definitely an econ/politics/public policy geek... I read Malthus for fun.
Music: Does singing while playing Rock Band count? If not, I used to play the piano fairly decently.
Sports: Baseball! Hopefully play some varsity ball as a walk-on!

And goodness, I AM FLIPPING OUT. It's amazing! I LOVE Princeton! In what are you thinking of concentrating? And did you go to any of the Princeton Previews?

I'm Angelica from Elizabeth, NJ and will be at Princeton this fall.

Major: History for now but applying to Woodrow Wilson
Innerd Nerd: um?...not sure
Music: I play just about every single brass instrument except for the french horn. Marching Band for 4 years and Drum and Bugle Corps for two....so maybe my inner nerd is my love of music?!?!...lol
Sports: Rugby?

I LOVE Princeton as well. I went to the first preview weekend.

How can you not have an inner nerd!!?? Everyone has one. I guess if you play in Marching Band then you have an inner nerd.

I'll post my info soon! Going to bed now though :)

Hey, everyone! I'm Jorge from Naples, FL. If anyone is familiar with Naples, then let me specify by saying I live in East Naples :) My parents came from Cuba about a year before I was born, and I speak Spanish fluently. I also absolutely love eating Cuban food for dinner every night <3 (like right now!)

Major: I'm thinking about a physics major, but because my school's physics program is entirely nonexistent, I'm not sure yet how much I like it or how good I even am at it! If not physics, then I hope to do math. I am very worried that I won't be good enough for that either, though. I guess we'll find out! I love every subject, which is why I applied to a school focused on the liberal arts as much as Princeton is.

I can't specify an inner-nerd, 'cause I'd kinda just describe myself as a nerd in general :). But I love playing trumpet in the marching, symphonic, and jazz bands at my school. I like to dabble in drums for fun, but I don't own one so I'm not proficient at it. I also like to dabble in piano, but I'm not great at that either. I like to compose bad music in Finale and Frootyloops on the computer for fun, from varying styles. I also like video games--as you might guess, especially music games. I love Rock Band.

I had a really difficult time deciding between Princeton and the University of Chicago. I always thought I'd end up at the University of Chicago, but after visiting both schools and organizing my thoughts, Princeton ever so slightly edged out Chicago. I am extremely excited for college, regardless: this is an absolutely amazing school, and never in my life would anyone in my family have suspected I'd go somewhere like this! Just this September I still thought I would only be going to a state school.

Heh, Music/Rhythm games are definitely my guilty pleasure. Rockband, Guitar Hero, DDR, etc.

That's great! I hope we can set up a virtual band at Princeton then! :) I'm happy playing vocals, guitar, bass, or drums. Moreso drums and vocals since they can actually have real-life effects on my singing and drumming abilities! Though I do also love playing guitar parts...

I'll just rotate :)

No need to set up a virtual band....look up PLOrk.

:)

^^ Oh, I love Princeton...

Hey, nice to meet you all. I confirmed yesterday. I'm from Korea, but I moved to Glasgow when I was 6 (yep, I got a Scottish accent...doesn't match my face, haha) then to Manhattan, then to Paris, then to Milan. Spent a few years in each...^_^ Yale was my first choice, and I'm on the waitlist, so I'm still kind of holding out but I'm more or less resigned to attending Princeton. Wait, 'resigned' isn't the right word - I'm freaking excited!!!

Major: REALLY unsure - I want to do Chem or Physics, but I also want to do International Studies and go to Woodrow Wilson
Inner Nerd: Hmm...I speak 5 languages. ^_^; I'm ambidextrous. Okay, that's not nerdy.
Music: Violin for 10 years...the drums for 2 years.
Sports: I played varsity tennis! Haha.

Excited for Princeton! Both my parents attending Yale then went to Harvard Business School, so I wanted to go to Yale too, but I love Princeton. I can always go to Harvard afterwards. Haha.

Ari from Colorado! (Well, military so I'm from all over the place)

Inner Nerd: I'm president/Fuhrer of my school's anime club? And I make costumes semi-professionally
Music: Band and marching band all 4 years, Marching band section leader
Sports: coughs Karate?
Random Geek Skill: I can probably sew a fully lined kimono with period-accurate sleeves in under 2 hours.
Senior Quote: My hovercraft is full of eels
Major: Film concentration!

I can't WAAAAAAAAAAAAIT! I love Princeton!

Um, wow, you are the coolest person ever. A kimono? Awesome. So awesome. I love Princeton.
